Analysis, assessment, visualization and archive filing take place with the process information systems. The Ingenieure Prof. Sturm + Partner GmbH, partners of OSIsoft, create solutions on the base of the PI-system. Process data include measurements (readings), binary readings and process parameters. The process information is seized from different data sources. That information is dynamic and designed to be accessed online (time relevant). The data demeanor is time and event orientated. Seizing (old) existing data is completely possible. The OSIoft PI-system offers a real time database, which was in particular designed for retrieving real-time data processing. Graphical interfaces help create the data visualization. The communication with external applications can be done via standard interfaces.
